At Little Black Duck Therapy, we value your time and the time of our practitioners. We also aim to be fair to clients who are waiting for appointments.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. This allows us to offer the appointment to someone else.

Late Cancellations & Non-Attendance

• Less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or reschedule will incur the full session fee

• Failure to attend (no-show) will also incur the full session fee

This applies regardless of the reason for non-attendance.

Exceptional Circumstances & Fee-Waiver Discretion

We understand that unexpected situations such as sudden illness or personal emergencies can occur.

In exceptional circumstances, a fee may be waived at the discretion of the practitioner or practice, taking into account factors such as:

• The nature of the circumstances

• Whether notice was provided as soon as reasonably possible

• The client’s history of attendance

Fee waivers are not automatic and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
